NABERS Commitment Agreements – Melbourne, 27 February

Updated: Jun 13, 2020

Join IBPSA Australasia at WSP Melbourne to learn about the NABERS Commitment Agreement process direct from experts at NABERS and Team Catalyst.

We are delighted to have Nadine Wagstaff from NABERS to present on the Commitment Agreement process, reasons to sign a Commitment Agreement, and how NABERS Committed Projects achieve their operational performance. Nadine has experience across various stages of the building lifecycle, including design, planning, policy, and operation. Her focus at NABERS is bridging the gap between design intent and actual outcomes in operation.

PC Thomas, a Director of Team Catalyst, has been a member of the NABERS Independent Design Review (IDR) panel since its inception. PC is a specialist in improving energy efficiency of large buildings from early design through post-occupancy. From his years of reviewing building designs and energy models, PC will share insights on the IDR process useful for design teams.

In addition to office buildings, NABERS Commitment Agreements have been expanded to include data centres, shopping centres, apartment buildings, and hotels. Commitment Agreements can be used to meet Section J energy efficiency requirements under NCC 2019 for commercial office buildings.
