Logo Contest

Are you a little bit nerdy and a little bit creative?

We want to distinguish IBPSA Australasia with the development of a new logo that better represents who we are.

This contest is open to all of our members. Not a member? You can become one simply by joining our mailing list. You can submit a logo individually or as a team, however the prize remains the same.

We will use our new logo everywhere we need one – including on our website, in emails and in print, and for banners, signs, etc. By entering the competition, you agree to give IBPSA Australasia exclusive rights to use the logo and we reserve the right to make modifications.

So, what does the winner get?

  • Fame, glory, and bragging rights (at least within building simulation circles!)

  • Free tickets to 4 IBPSA Australasia events of your choice FY2022/2023

  • Profile about you on our new website

  • Your choice of Building Performance Analysis by Pieter de Wilde or the expanded second edition of Building Performance Simulation for Design and Operation edited by Jan L. M. Hensen and Roberto Lamberts

  • A coveted spot on the marketing & comms sub-committee, providing input on all graphical aspects

  • And of course, effusive praise and credit on our website!

Interested? There are some key design guidelines you’ll need to follow.

  • Meet all the Affiliate logo rules as set by IBPSA World (see policy here)

  • Represent the Australasia region through the design

  • Useable in colour, grayscale or black & white versions, used on a dark background

  • Ideally the logo could be used in all three of the following ways (example):

  • Without text

  • With text – roughly square

  • With text – horizontal and long (e.g. as a document header)

  • File format: EPS (vector image)

Email events@ibpsa-australasia.org to register your interest.

The judging panel will be made up of the 2020-2022 IBPSA Australasia board members, and the winner will be announced in the 2022 AGM held in November.

Submit your entry by 1st September 2022.
