About the Event
RMIT’s Solar Energy Application Lab has been developing a BIPV simulation tool and it is now ready to be tested by you! Workshops will be held in the next few weeks in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, with online access as well.
Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) reframes distributed solar energy as a building product which needs close collaborations between the PV and building industries. It is difficult to develop a business case for a BIPV project without accessible information and value-for-money solutions. RMIT Solar Energy Application Lab has developed a BIPV Enabler Tool, which translates technical complexities into a packaged, user friendly platform that integrates product, regulation, technical, economic and construction data to create the best BIPV solution for individual building projects. It intends to provide a one-stop solution for all BIPV stakeholders cross the PV, energy, building and regulatory sectors.
Workshop dates and locations
Brisbane: 5th May 4:30-6:pm at Queensland University of Technology, Gardens Point campus
Melbourne: 11th May 4:30-6pm at RMIT University City campus (online access option is also available)
